Something’s up today with the whole bunch of mobile phones hitting the market. Another model that is trying to get the eye and to impress is the new Nokia 6760 Slide smartphone which has just been release to the old continent. Known as Nokia Surge in the US, the European version (actually the UK version) of the handset features a 2.4 inch QVGA display, a 3.2 megapixel camera and a microSD card that allows up to 8GB of storage.
Available in black, red or white, by the end of summer for 200 Euro (some $280 today), Nokia 6760 is a great multi-tasker that allows you to tweet, email, IM, share online, browse the web, listen to music, all at once.
One of the most interesting aspect of the new Nokia 6760 Slide, is that the sliding QWERTY keypad has been specially designed to be messaging-optimised and to make typing easy — a pretty neat feature if you’re consider the you get easy access to your favourite social networking site (Facebook, MySpace or Twitter) as well as email accounts that support Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, Windows Live Hotmail and thousands of other email providers.
